Membership of British Canoeing
The governing body for canoeing and kayaking in the UK is British Canoeing (BC). All club members  are encouraged to become members. Benefits of membership of BC incude a waterways licence, which covers various waters including those controlled by the Canals and Rivers’ Trust – including many canals; and those controlled by the Environment Agency – including the River Thames and the Jubilee River.
