The Annual General (i.e. Club Members’) Meeting will be at the club and will begin at 7pm. It is your club and it is important that you attend this meeting and make your views known. It is also the time when the new Committee is elected – volunteers who run the club on behalf of the members.
We are currently a committee of eleven people and we need members to join the committee and help to run the club.
We do have a number of elected officers serving on the committee (Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Secretary, Child Welfare Officer) , and you are welcome to put your name forward for one of the roles if you wish. If you don’t want to commit to being an officer we would still be more than happy for you to become a committee member.
To help you with your decision there is a list below of what we need from our committee members.
Training and help will be provided on all of the above!
Note: The help required on a Wednesday evening with tours, questions, membership enquiries etc., does not mean committee members can’t paddle, but everyone should be willing and able to help a prospective or existing member, although this may at times mean a delay in going out, or getting off the water.
